Hanging of the Greens Service- This evening of lessons and carols is held the first Sunday in Advent to kick off the season and ceremonially decorate the church.
Blue Christmas Service- This Healing of Griefs service offers a quiet, peaceful time to acknowledge those who may be going through a challenging time, and to hear God’s words of encouragement for the days ahead. Please join us.
Celebrating Christmas Eve
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. -Isaiah 9:6
– 4:00 PM- Christmas Eve Children’s Service- This brief service is held in our Fellowship Hall and aimed at children and families. Children are able to experience the Christmas story through skits, carols, and stories.
– 8:00 PM- Christmas Eve Word and Sacrament- Our service of Word and Sacrament provides a full worship service through which to celebrate the miracle of Jesus’ birth. This service does include communion.
– 11:00 PM- Christmas Eve Lessons and Carols- We raise our voices in Word and song to experience the Christmas story and worship the newborn King.
