Fair Trade Ministry
Advent supports the Fair-trade Ministry every other Sunday by selling coffee, teas, cocoa, chocolate bars, and olive oil produced from crops grown by small farmers around the world.
The ELCA and other fair-trade companies buy directly from these farmers giving them increased profits that are returned to their communities. The communities use the profits to improve living conditions through improved hygiene, education, and medical care.
