News From Ipinda Parish, Tanzania

As part of our annual benevolence giving, Advent Lutheran Church has supported and partnered with the Ipinda Parish in Tanzania, Africa for many vears. They are a parish that is part of the Konde Diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT).

Pastor Zabron Mwakalasi sends the following news regarding our benevolence support:

"Our dear friends, may the Lord, Jesus, be praised! With a heart of joy we acknowledge and thank you for the help we have recently received this financial month. We intend to use to pay the salaries of the servants who have not been paid for a long time now and also continue to complete the construction of the house of our former parish worker after retirement - he did not have a place to live, so the church decided to renovate the deaconry and build him a small house. With your help, we have bought 20 sheets of steel and renovated the house. God bless you very much."

"Regarding the Women's Group project of an orphanage, work is still going on. Until now, they have installed the electricity and are about to set the project's office. They intend to build classrooms also for training. We are hopeful because we have the bricks to start the construction of the wall. Your help is very important to us. We love you all dear ones."
